Summer Solstice Event with Kindred Yoga

Baby, light my fire! Burn through what is not serving you during our Buti yoga event to celebrate the summer solstice. Expect upbeat music, high energy, and creative movement to get you out of your head and into your body. We'll begin with Buti: a mix of yoga, dance cardio, and strength and conditioning. Then we'll slow it down with a series of cooling yoga postures set to relaxing music. After class, join us for a glass of bubbles and snack on some lite bites while meeting other members of the Annapolis yoga community.

Split the Pot Records will dj this outdoor event as we watch the sun set over a gorgeous water backdrop. Prior yoga experience is unnecessary; come with an open heart and mind. All vibes are welcome!

In the event of rain, the class and social hour will be moved into the marina clubhouse. There is no rain date. All sales are final but are transferable to another person for the event.

Barre and Bubbles with Kindred Yoga

Want to tone your tush? Strengthen your core? Improve your posture? Or just hang out with some great women?

If any or all of those things sound fun, join us for Barre and Bubbles on May 11th!

The evening begins with a 45-minute barre class team-taught by local Annapolis instructors Briana Jatlow and Hillary Mitchell. Following class, we will have a champagne toast as you mingle and watch the sunset over the gorgeous Bay Ridge Marina.

Barre is a low-impact workout focusing on the entire body to help tone muscles and improve posture. It incorporates elements of ballet and Pilates while focusing on high repetitions and small, isometric movements. Though most barre classes utilize a ballet barre and multiple pieces of equipment, this bodyweight class will be on your mat with the option to bring 2-lb or 3-lb weights from home. The class will take place inside the marina clubhouse.

What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and, if you’d like, a set of light weights.

In the event of inclement weather, we will host the post-barre bubbles inside the clubhouse. This event has no rain date.
