Kate Curry started her yoga path over twenty years ago while attending a yoga class at the corporate fitness facility where she worked. Kate's BS in Kinesiology and years of experience leading group exercise and personal training gave her a solid background as she transitioned through her 200hr teacher training at Power Yoga Works and her 500hr Kunga Yoga teacher training through the Wilmington Yoga Center. 

Throughout her twenty years of teaching yoga, Kate has enjoyed taking many workshops under amazing teachers such as Kristin Cooper-Gulak, Donna Gardner, Marlyssa Sullivan, Michael "Mukti" Buck, Deon De Wiit, David Emerson, Josh Summers, and Kathryn Budig. In addition to her regular schedule, Kate leads workshops and teacher trainings' as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, as well as being a 5Elements Flow certified instructor, Warriors At Ease Level 1 Instructor, and most recently completed a 50-hour Foundations of Yin Yoga Teacher Training through the Summers School of Yin Yoga. 

Through her teaching, Kate loves to share her passion for yoga practice's physical and spiritual sides. She believes strongly in moving mindfully and with purpose through each posture and breath. Her classes are strong and alignment-based, and she believes in modifying classes for all practitioners' levels. Off the mat, Kate loves to spend time with family and friends, traveling to new exciting places, and living a healthy and active lifestyle. 

Currently, Kate is leading classes at Prana Studio and Blue Lotus Yoga Studio in Annapolis, MD, mentoring teachers and meeting with private clients.
