Kate Curry, 500hr ERYT

Kate brings more than two decades of experience to the Autumn Tranquility Retreat, weaving together her background in Kinesiology, extensive training across multiple yoga lineages, and thousands of hours guiding students through purposeful, alignment-based practice. Her teaching journey began over twenty years ago and has since included advanced certifications in Vinyasa, Kunga Yoga, 5Elements Flow, Warriors at Ease, and Yin Yoga.

Known for her thoughtful sequencing and her ability to blend strength with spaciousness, Kate creates a practice environment that is both grounding and transformative. Her approach emphasizes mindful movement, breath-led transitions, and accessible options for every practitioner—inviting students to move with intention and reconnect with their inner landscape.

Throughout the retreat weekend, Kate will lead a curated blend of warming flows, restorative sessions, and reflective practices designed to harmonize with Vermont’s peaceful autumn energy.

Outside the studio, Kate loves exploring new places, spending time with family, and embracing an active, healthy lifestyle.

FAQs

How do I Reserve my spot?

Once the retreat goes live on February 1st, reserve your spot by clicking on the button in the pricing section. Once you pay the deposit and provide a little bit of information your spot is secured.

when is the full payment due?

After the initial deposit is made, the first payment of half of the remaining balance will be due six months out from the retreat date. The final payment is due 90 days from the start of the retreat.

what to bring?

Kate will email a packing list closer to the retreat dates.. But plan on a yoga mat and props, comfy clothes you can move in, and any other items that will make your long weekend away more enjoyable.

Can i bring alcohol?

Yes! This retreat is BYOB. If you would like to arrange for alcohol to be delivered to the retreat home before you arrive, this will be available for an additional fee. More information to come as the retreat nears.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Every effort will be made to cater to most food preferences, allergies, and sensitivities. There will be gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options for every meal, as well as vegan upon request. The goal of the retreat leader is to provide as many farm-to-table meals as possible, highlighting local farmers and eating in season—more details on partnerships with local farms and eateries to come.

How do I book a room for multiple people?

If you are planning on sharing your space with others, have only ONE person book the room. There will be a section in the booking where you can let the retreat leader know how many will be in the room. Kate will follow up to get additional information and payment info for the other retreat participants. Only one deposit is required to secure the room, the remaining deposits will be due within 1 week of initial deposit of room.

What is your cancellation policy?

The initial deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance paid is refundable up to 90 days before the retreat. Within 90 days of the retreat, the retreat is non-fundable. In the event that the retreat space can be filled, a partial refund may be administered but only under the discretion of the retreat leader.

I have never been on a yoga retreat, what can I expect?

You can expect a restful long weekend surrounded by like minded people. Days filled with movement and reflection, good food and atmosphere, along with daily support and restoration. We can’t wait to host you.
